About

My illustrations and art reflect living in Palm Springs, CA for close to five years. Midcentury architecture, desert flora & fauna and warm sun lit skies are visual inspirations from which I draw from daily. My rescue dog Dottie often joins me on my sketch walks around Palm Springs.

Previously living in the Chelsea neighborhood in NYC for twenty years, my art was inspired from watching New Yorkers strut their stuff and show off their personal fashion styles using the sidewalk as their catwalk.

My illustration career builds on designing fashion apparel and accessories for over twenty-five years.  I am also a professor for apparel product development in the Fashion Business Management department at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. My education includes a MFA from FIT in Illustration and a BFA from the University of Massachusetts in Textile Surface Design.
